If Bradley could have stayed healthy he might have taken this second spot. As it were, the big central defender has looked calm cool and collected from the moment he stepped on the pitch.
With Joel Matip going down with a knee injury and Virgil van Dijk suspended early on, there was a need for the Academy product to step in. He did just that to the tune of 33 appearances in all comps while recording an impressive 6 goal contributions.
He has an uncanny ability to read the game before it happens that a player with 5 more years experience might struggle with.
Quansah's uptick in form and Ibrahima Konate seemingly losing all his confidence at the end of the season meant that Quansah might have established himself as deputy to VVD heading into the summer.
He looks to be a very strong option that could be a ready-made replacement in a few years when Virgil does eventually depart.
