As the summer rolls on, it is inevitable the biggest players across the world will be linked to several of the most high-profile clubs on offer.

Keeping up with all the swirling rumors can be a dizzying task for anyone, so today I decided to do some of the work for you! I've combed through the various transfer news and notes to pull out the four biggest stars that Liverpool have most recently been linked with.

This might not mean they are going to sign them of course, but they are in the arena and perhaps one or two could maybe be pulled off with some magic and luck.

Let's see the four biggest stars to be linked with Liverpool this summer.

Danio Olmo - RB Leipzig

The Spain attacking midfielder still has a European Championship Final to worry about as he has been an integral part of La Roja making their deep tournament run.

He has a release clause of around €60 million that expires in just a few days which means that any club that wants him for a somewhat reasonable fee must move and act quickly. The player himself is also focused on his current task at hand.

"I have too much to do with the Euros to think about other things. Especially now with the final ahead. I don't have anything else on my mind. I have a contract with RB Leipzig. It's not something I think about. The people I trust already know my opinion and what I want to do." Olmo said.

While Olmo would make for a fun addition to the Liverpool attack, especially in Arne Slot's new system that encourages several midfielders to play higher-up, it's hard to see this one happening.

Him playing in the Final and the clause near expiration make for a lethal combo to any chance this can get done.
