2. Both goals were perfect illustrations of "Slot Ball"

While they took an hour to arrive, the two goals scored by Liverpool on Saturday were the type of attacking moves we can come to expect in Slot's system.

The crisp passes and ball movement flowed naturally within the side when Trent Alexander-Arnold put a perfectly weighted through-ball for Mohamed Salah to latch onto before he deftly rolled it in the path of Diogo Jota for the confident finish.

It was a moment of brilliance that cut apart a hardworking defense in a flash and the ease at which it occurred was tantalizing.

Salah would get his goal following a lovely long ball pass from Virgil van Dijk before executing a nice give and go at the edge of the box. These quick interchanges and passing moves existed under Klopp, but they were fewer and further between than they should be now.
