5. Steven Caulker - 2016
Steven Caulker is the only loan on this list, having spent the back half of the 2015-16 season at Liverpool. An academy product of Tottenham Hotspur, Caulker made his way to Cardiff City before switching to Queens Park Rangers. After QPR was relegated in 2015, Caulker was sent on loan to Southampton for the beginning of the 2015-16 season before being recalled and sent to Liverpool.
The Sierra Leone international played just four matches for Liverpool and moved to Dundee FC permanently away from QPR in 2016. Now at 32 years old, Caulker is a player-coach with Malaga City in the fifth tier of Spain.
