1. Trent Alexander-Arnold - RB
And without further ado, here we are. The 25-year old finds himself at the summit of the 20 best current Liverpool players.
Despite having missed large swathes of this recently concluded campaign, Trent's presence is still a huge one within the club. When he is fully fit and raring, he is the best facilitator in the team.
He can unlock any defense from almost anywhere on the pitch which puts him in a very rare class of player. Looking ahead, whether he moves permanently to the midfield or not, he is still a near irreplaceable piece in the machine.
I love Conor Bradley as a young player, I really do. But he is not Trent Alexander-Arnold at this stage of his career.
One big factor in favor of TAA over Mo and Virgil for the top spot here is their age. Salah and van Dijk project for maybe two more years tops. TAA could have a decade ahead in Red.
So, given his dynamic skillset, the fact he is entering the prime of his career, and his ties to the club, Trent Alexander-Arnold tops my current Liverpool player power rankings.
