4. Jarell Quansah

Via the "Here We Go" podcast, Fabrizio Romano states that he's heard Liverpool and Jarell Quansah will discuss a new contract "in the coming months". The 21-year-old defender has emerged as a regularly used player by Jurgen Klopp. Before this season, Quansah had never played a competitive match for Liverpool at the senior level and spent last season on loan at Bristol Rovers in League One.

His rapid rise to one of the club's more prominent young talents has lead to contract talks being a topic of discussion in recent months. Referring back to the club ushering in a new era after the end of Klopp's tenure, an extension for Quansah can help reinforce the direction the club wants to head, newness.

It will be a busy summer for Reds' management but extension discussions cannot be rushed either, as the two parties look to feel each other out on expectations, goals and importantly salary. All four of these players mentioned will be in the limelight for possible extensions this summer, with some definitely more likely to sign on the dotted line than others.
