As Liverpool begins moving on from the FA Cup heartbreak on Sunday, there are a whole host of injury updates to get to on this Monday. With the international break beginning, there will be no shortage of game time as most of the Reds stars travel around the world.

There are also some fresh transfer links that we should take a look at as well among other tidbits around the club. Let's go through some of the most important ones.

Injury updates for Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz

This will definitely come as a relief to hear, but all three of these Liverpool forwards appear to have only suffered minor issues. Darwin will not be linking up with the Uruguay national team as he is being held back to rest over the break. No serious injury though.

Diaz felt something in his groin on Sunday, but it does not seem to be an issue as he will still join the Colombian national team for international duty.

Gakpo had a minor ankle issue but concerns have been alleviated over that as well. It appears all are good to go and it's just a matter of getting them back healthy in a fortnight.

No concerns over Ibrahima Konate fitness

The French defender missed out on Sunday's match at Old Trafford with a hamstring issue he suffered during the Europa League win.

However, French National Team manager Didier Deschamps quelled any worries over his fitness saying they found no issue following medical checks and he would be good to go. This is very good news as Liverpool will need all the defensive help they can get down the stretch of the season.

Michael Edwards keen on pursuing Bayern Munich starlet

We all rejoiced when Edwards returned to the Liverpool setup in a more prominent role and it appears he is wasting little time lining up targets to strengthen the side.

It is being reported that he will lead the Reds charge for Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala. The young superstar is valued around £100m so it would be an unusual signing per Liverpool's normal standards.

However, as last summer's Moises Caicedo debacle showed, they are willing to open the coffers for the right player. Musiala would definitely qualify in that category as he as 12 goals and 6 assists this season for the Bavarians.
