Current Liverpool player power rankings No. 16-20

  • The Liverpool squad is full of talent and ranking them was hard
  • It was an up-and-down season that saw new players step up
  • There is more talent than just the world class names at Liverpool

When you look at the depth of a football team, you hope the talent never stops the further down the squad list you go. At Liverpool, that has become the case once again.

I took a shot at ranking the current Liverpool squad, ranking players 1-20, with things like performance, history of impact, future projection and a few other things to determine this list. This is the first part of what will be a mini series as we go on a journey to see which Red sits at No. 1.

Without further ado, we begin...

20. Ben Doak - RW

Our first entry in these power rankings is a young player that has not featured since late 2023. Doak is on his way back from a torn meniscus in his knee which ended his season prematurely.

However, before that, the young Scot was one of the brightest young talents that Liverpool had on offer. He actually featured in the Premier League season opener away to Chelsea showing the trust the coaching staff had in him.

He would make four more appearances in all comps before his season ended. Doak, still only 18, has world class upside.

His technical ability on the ball and his willingness to drive forward at all times are things that cannot always be taught. He plays very direct and he knows where he wants to go. He can be a little predictable as a result so that is something he can improve.

If he comes back fully healthy, he could absolutely soar up this list.
