17. Stefan Bajcetic - CDM

It would be easy for someone to forget just how good the young Spaniard was in limited action for Liverpool in 2022-23.

He lost the 2023-24 season due to lingering fitness issues, but now he seems to be on the mend and did make a brief cameo to close out the season. While Wataru Endo did a bang up job at the defensive midfield spot, he is not the long-term answer because of his age.

Bajcetic could be that option. He has already shown he can handle the role at the highest level and he seemingly never gets rattled on the pitch.

He snaps into tackles with more ferocity than one would expect from a youngster with his slender frame. While on the ball, he reads the opponent so well and uses their own momentum against them to make graceful spins look a lot easier than they are.

Again, assuming full fitness, Stefan could be another player that flies up the next edition of these power rankings.
