Minutes in the bank from Bradley, Doak, Jota, Konate and Robertson in UEFA Nations League
The 2024-25 edition of the UEFA Nations League kicked off on Sept. 5, and five Liverpool players have played so far in the competition.
On Thursday, Diogo Jota was used as a late sub for Portugal in their win over Croatia. He came into the match for Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored his 900th career goal in the match.
In Scotland's loss to Poland, Liverpool's Andy Robertson, wearing the armband, played all 90 minutes. Ben Doak, currently on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough, came in the 71st minute as an attacking option.
Meanwhile, in Nations League C action, fullback Conor Bradley started and went the full 90 in a 2-0 win over Luxembourg.
Ibrahima Konate was the lone Liverpool player to play a Nations League match on Friday, Sept. 6. The French defender started and played the entire match in France's 3-1 loss to Italy.
