Liverpool agree fee for Giorgi Mamardashvili with medical completed
As Fabrizio Romano broke yesterday, Liverpool has signed Giorgi Mamardashvilli from Valencia on a deal worth nearly £30m, including a sell-on clause. The transfer will see Mamardashvili head back to Valencia on loan for the remainder of this season. The Georgian keeper will be a long-term replacement for current starting no. 1 Alisson Becker. He has already completed his medical as of August 26th and an announcement could be made shortly after.
Mamardashvili is regarded as one of the best keepers in La Liga, and at just 23 years old, the Reds could be getting a bargain of a deal.
