The Reds are in firm control of the tie, so expect a few changes in this one.

Liverpool are carrying on in their march for an unprecedented quadruple trophy haul. The next step is finishing off Czech side Sparta Prague in the Europa League Round of 16. The Reds hold a commanding 5-1 aggregate lead following their big performance last week in the Czech Republic.

With an eye on Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday, I fully expect Jurgen Klopp to take a more pragmatic approach to this one to make sure he gets a lot of his key players some much needed rest.

It has been a very busy and emotional past few weeks as Liverpool have given everything on multiple occasions, so a nice comfortable evening on Thursday will be most welcome.

I expect a few regular names to start, but the big stars should not be risked if it is not absolutely necessary. Let's get into what I think the Starting XI will look like in this one.

Goalkeeper: Caoimhin Kelleher

Defenders: Conor Bradley, Jarell Quansah, Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas

Midfielders: Bobby Clark. Wataru Endo, James McConnell

Forwards: Harvey Elliott, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo

Probable Subs: Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister, Andy Robertson, Lewis Koumas

This might appear to be a weakened lineup, but it should still have plenty of firepower to put on a good performance on Thursday.

It is going to provide Klopp another good opportunity to get some of the youngsters on the field in a European tie under the bright lights. Jayden Danns is still battling to recover from a concussion he suffered in the Nottingham Forest win, otherwise I would have had him starting.

Darwin should not play the full 90, nor should Endo. It'll be more good minutes as Salah continues to ramp up in his return from injury and it should put the Egyptian in with a shout to start on Sunday.

Liverpool vs Sparta Prague will kickoff on Thursday March 14 at 8pm GMT/3pm CST.
