On Sunday Liverpool will travel to a famiiar ground to try and keep their FA Cup aspirations alive and well. They square off with Manchester United in the FA Cup Quarterfinal at Old Trafford as the two long-time rivals will square off in a truly enticing affair.

Liverpool carries a lot of momentum into this meeting following their 6-1 demolition of Sparta Prague in the Europa League on Thursday.

Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai both made big impacts in that match as they both also played the full 90 minutes. They should be in contention to play again on Sunday as well. However, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota and Alisson still won't be ready just yet.

However, the likes of Ryan Gravenberch has continued to progress well in his rehab and could be ready to take a spot on the bench.

Let's take a look how Liverpool could lineup to try and book their spot in the FA Cup last four.

Goalkeeper: Caoimhin Kelleher

Defenders: Conor Bradley, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson

Midfielders: Harvey Elliott, Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister

Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz

Probable Subs: Dominik Szoboszlai, Cody Gakpo, Jarell Quansah, James McConnell, Ryan Gravenberch

Jurgen Klopp will have one of his strongest sides available to him in a long time for this big-time meeting with United. I don't think Ibrahima Konate will be risked in this one as Gomez has played more than well enough to have earned the start.

On current form, if Liverpool roll out a Starting XI close to the above, I think they should be able to secure the right result from things.

While United has played a little better in recent times, they still don't have the consistency and proven track record that Liverpool does this season in pressure matches.

Liverpool and Manchester United will kickoff at 3:30pm GMT/10:30am CST.
