The Liverpool mojo train continued rolling on Wednesday as they made a winning start to their title defense in the League Cup via a 5-1 thrashing of West Ham.

With so many players in such fine form, it will be an embarrassment of riches for Arne Slot to select from on Saturday for the trip to the Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The good times should keep going on Saturday as the Reds have enough firepower at their disposal no matter who gets the nod. However, as the loaded fixture list rolls on, rotation is still needed and pragmatism must stay in focus.

With that, let's see how Liverpool could lineup against Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday.

Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker

Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson

Midfielders: Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai

Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz

Probable Subs: Cody Gakpo, Curtis Jones, Darwin Nunez, Conor Bradley, Federico Chiesa

Alisson is still iffy coming off of his injury but this is purely wishful thinking on my part. With the entire defense rotated in midweek, the core from the strong start this season are all brought back into the XI.

Alexander-Arnold and Robertson could have big roles to play in this one in terms of finding way through what will surely be a packed Wolves defense.

This midfield trio was also on the bench during the West Ham win and Macca only made a cameo off the bench. Gravenberch has been one of our best players this season and long may that continue.

Salah scored off the bench on Wednesday and was so dangerous. He easily gets back into the starting linuep and should be a menace once again .A pair of goals starting in a deeper role means Jota gets rewarded by going back in the XI. Nunez sits after two straight starts.

Despite Gakpo playing wonderfully against the Hammers, Diaz has done nothing to lose his place in the side and will be eager to get after it once again.

Chiesa goes back to the bench after making his first start but he should still see minutes in this one as should fellow attackers Nunez and Gakpo.

The midfield and defensive subs will be interesting, but Jones looked good so he should make an appearance and I think Bradley is always a strong option coming off the bench in any match.

Liverpool should be heavy favorites in this match and the above lineup should comfortably stroll to the points.
