As we look ahead to the next five Premier League fixtures, there are some big-time opponents on the docket. This could very well determine how the rest of the title chase plays out. Let's get into them below.

Liverpool vs. Bournemouth (Jan. 21)

The Reds defeated the Cherries earlier this season despite Alexis Mac Allister receiving a contrversial red card. Coming off a nice stretch of no matches, Liverpool should be well rested as they hit the road.

Still missing some key names, I think they can get the job done here.

Prediction: Liverpool 2 Bournemouth 0

Liverpool vs. Chelsea (Jan. 31)

With the backdrop of a transfer deadline day, two of the biggest clubs in England will meet in a crucial affair for both sides. These two battled to a 1-1 draw on opening day in a cagey affair.

I think this will be another hotly contested battle once again. Chelsea have shown some signs of life in recent times and still have a lot of talent to throw at us. However, the power of Anfield will see Liverpool across the line.

Prediction: Liverpool 2 Chelsea 1

Liverpool vs. Arsenal (Feb. 4)

Jurgen Klopp leads his men back to the Emirates where they just secured a famous FA Cup victory. However, I don't think it will be as enjoyable this time around.

The Gunners are still very much in the title race and will need something from the match. I expect a cautious affair where both sides spend a lot of the time protectiing from dangerous counters.

In the end, it'll be a stalemate.

Prediction: Liverpool 1 Arsenal 1

Liverpool vs. Burnley (Feb. 10)

Coming off a tough two-match stretch with the London heavyweights, Liverpool will get a bit of a reprieve in the shape of Burnley.

Now, historically this is always a tricky fixture, Liverpool recently disposed of them in convincing fashion. I think the trend will continue at Anfield and the Reds get back in the win column following the Arsenal draw.

Prediction: Liverpool 3 Burnley 1

Liverpool vs. Brentford (Feb. 17)

The fifth opponent in this Premier League stretch will be an away trip to Brentford. The Bees have been struggling more this season then they have in recent years and I believe a full-strength Liverpool squad by this time will easily dispatch of them.

I predict this will be the most emphatic performance of all five of these matches.

Prediction: Liverpool 4 Brentford 0

Now, there is also the League Cup semifinal second leg and an FA Cup 4th round match sprinkled between these five Premier League matches, so rotation will be essential for Klopp.
