2. Darwin Núñez - Uruguay

For some players, a different role is what helps them unlock a higher level of play for country. Sometimes, it's the elevated motivation applied by a leadership role, or the gravity of performing for one's country.

For Darwin, who is no more or less important to Uruguay as compared to Liverpool, and plays basically the same position for both club and country, it's something as simple as putting on a different shirt.

It may sound silly, but if you've watched Liverpool, you know that Darwin has one of the greatest striker skill sets you'll ever see- he just struggled in terms of consistently applying it on the pitch.

All of his struggles are mental, and each poor outing simply weighs him down more. With Uruguay, the mindset is completely different, and he plays the football he's very well capable of doing.

We already saw it with a hat-trick in a friendly against Mexico, and he should be a major factor throughout this Copa America.
