Liverpool are now weeks into the Arne Slot era.
Pre-season has been underway for multiple weeks now at Liverpool's training ground, and Arne Slot will have a chance to gain some level of influence from the players. The club has yet to play a friendly in front of a crowd, although that soon will be coming, with the Reds set to face off against Real Betis in the USA on July 26th. So, what are the big headlines so far for Liverpool coming out of training camp?

1. Liverpool taking cautious approach to transfer window business
While Liverpool was not expected to be amongst the busiest in the summer transfer window, most did not expect it to be this quiet. Liverpool have signed zero players thus far, something only Fulham in the Premier League can also say.
Lewis Steele of Mail Sport has confirmed that Arne Slot will look to assess the squad during the USA pre-season tour before decisions on transfers, in or out of the club, are made. Described as a "patient approach," Liverpool will ensure that if they make a signing, it has to be the right one for the right price.
Nonetheless, it can be frustrating as a supporter not to see your club make signings while the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have already made multiple big-money signings this summer.
