It seems that the good form and vibes that have been around Liverpool Football Club for months have been taken by the players to their respective national teams. The last few days saw various Reds stars playing well and having big impacts for their countries.

This is the kind of the thing we want to see. Keeping the confidence growing and playing well before returning in one piece to Anfield.

Kostas Tsimikas got the start and played the full 90 minutes as he provided an assist in Greece's 5-0 win over Kazakhstan in Euro 2024 qualifying. He typically always plays well when he pulls on the Greece shirt.

The Netherlands hammered Andy Robertson's Scotland 4-0 in their friendly meeting as multiple current and former Reds made their mark.

Gini Wijnaldum scored for the Dutch side as he showed he still has some gas left in his tank after his struggles upon leaving Liverpool. Virgil van Dijk captained his side as he also played the full 90 in this one. It was a comfortable evening for the big man.

Cody Gakpo shook off his naysayers and doubters from the last week to produce a strong display with a pair of assists to his name. He looked dangerous and creative and hopefully he brings this confidence back to the club.

Conor Bradley started for Northern Ireland in their 1-1 draw with Romania. He did not get as forward as much as we're used to seeing, but that is to be expected in this Northern Irish side.

Dominik Szoboszlai was the Captain and inspiration behind Hungary's 1-0 win over Turkey as he netted the only goal of the match from the penalty spot. He was their creative driving force and he looked at his influential best.

As of this writing Caoimhin Kelleher is starting for Republic of Ireland in their friendly with Belgium and he has kept a clean sheet through 62 minutes.

Luis Diaz provided an assist for Colombia as they defeated Spain while Alexis Mac Allister only saw 17 minutes off the bench for Argentina.

Harvey Elliott scored for the England U-21's in their 5-1 win over Azerbaijan in Euro U21 qualifying. Jarell Quansah was an unused substitute.

More internationals are taking place so come back for more updates.
