2. Luis Suarez - £75 million

Next on the list is Luis Suarez's move to Barcelona from Liverpool for £75 million in 2014. Unlike the Coutinho deal, it is fair to say that Barcelona got their money's worth out of signing Suarez.

The Uruguayan striker recorded 198 goals in all competitions for the La Liga side, cementing himself as one of the greatest players of his generation and one of the greatest strikers of all time. Suarez, near the end of his career, now resides in Miami, playing in the MLS alongside his former Barca teammates Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and, of course, Lionel Messi.

Suarez played just four seasons with the Reds but netted 82 goals across all competitions, including 31 goals during the 2013-14 Premier League season, which earned him the league's Golden Boot. That same season, Suarez shared the European Golden Shoe with Cristiano Ronaldo and won Premier League Player of the Year.

While it would've been great to witness Suarez's greatness for longer at Anfield, the 37-year-old will have no regrets about the path his career has taken him.
