Not a seven, or a nine in terms of scoreline, but arguably more important in its context.
After having suffered the pain of missing out on the title by a point to Manchester City the previous season, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds were out for revenge.
It wasn’t always pretty, but this victory, was arguably the strongest in Liverpool’s recent history. Grinding out result after result.
After Palace had a goal ruled out by VAR, Liverpool went ahead through Sadio Mane as his shot agonised on the goal-line before hitting a post for the second time and tumbling in.

Wilfried Zaha equalised with a low finish, and Roberto Firmino scrambled in the ball as it ricocheted around the penalty area with five minutes to play.
That season, Liverpool only dropped points once prior to the 29th February in the league, as the Reds went on to secure that elusive Premier League trophy.
