1. Jarell Quansah commits long-term to Liverpool with new contract
Liverpool officially announced on Oct. 7 that defender Jarell Quansah has signed a new long-term contract with the club. The actual length of the contract is undisclosed. Given this is Quansah's first contract since becoming a first-team regular, Jarell will have seen a massive increase in his salary.
While he's been benched in the Premier League since his start against Ipswich Town, Quansah is evidently in Arne Slot and the rest of the club's management's plans for the future. The youngster is bound to get more opportunities, whether due to injuries or playing in domestic cup matches.
