3. Ibrahima Konate expected to sign new contract
Ibrahima Konate's performances so far this season have been exceptional, and the French centre-back looks set to be rewarded for his efforts. According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool and Konate have begun contract talks, and Konate is being viewed internally as a key piece for the future under Arne Slot.
With his current contract running until 2026, Konate is likely not in line for a new long-term contract, but certainly, one that will bump the expiration up at least a couple of years.
