Luis Diaz
Liverpool knows what they will get from Mo Salah: goals on a weekly basis. There is less confidence in Luis Diaz. The 27-year-old has had a promising start to the campaign, getting a goal and an assist against Brentford last weekend.
If he continues his form in front of goal, that could be a key differential for Liverpool against Manchester United.

Diaz has scored twice previously against this opponent, one coming in last season’s 2-2 draw in MD16. The Colombian will likely be up against Diogo Dalot, with defensive support coming from Kobbie Mainoo.
The latter, while nascent, lacks top-level experience, and Dalot could be regarded as a potential weak point on United’s side.
Alejandro Garnacho could potentially come to their aid, but he will likely stay higher in the hope of sparking a counter-attack. Liverpool’s left-hand side could prove fruitful for the Reds on Sunday if Diaz plays his cards right.
