Liverpool currently find themselves at the top of the Premier League after an impressive start under new manager Arne Slot

Life after Jurgen Klopp has been successful thus far, as the Reds have 15 points from a possible 18, in which they have only conceded twice. The expected players such as Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk have been playing to their usual world-class standard.

If anyone has watched Gravenberch so far this season, they would completely agree that he has been one of Liverpool’s best players so far. The Dutchman has cemented his place into Slot’s starting lineup and has been an ever-present in the heart of the Reds’ midfield.

After a summer of fans crying out for the club to sign a natural number six, Gravenberch has held down the role to near perfection and has won multiple Player of the Match awards.

The 22-year-old signed from Bayern Munich last summer, but he was used mainly as a substitute and rarely saw a full 90. This season, though, he’s transformed his game and is comfortably one of the first names on the team sheet.

In Liverpool’s last game against Wolves, Gravenberch won all of his duels (8/8), had the second most amount of passes into the final third (19) and had the highest passing accuracy (95%) compared to any other Liverpool player.
