2. Who will start at left-wing with Fabio Carvalho gone?
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Fabio Carvalho is expected to head to Brentford for £20m, with add-ons potentially bringing the deal up to £27.5m. The Portuguese youth international impressed well under Slot, and the move comes as a bit of an annoyance to many supporters.
Both Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz will likely battle for the starting left-wing spot under Arne Slot, but as aforementioned, there is no guarantee either is fit to start against Sevilla, given that their returns to training only happened last week.
Right winger Ben Doak could potentially be shifted out of position to the left wing versus Sevilla. Alternatively, Diogo Jota, who started as a centre-forward in Liverpool's last two friendlies, could also play on the left, although this would mean Darwin Nunez is ready to start.
