We are now into the final two matches of the 2024/25 season for Liverpool Football Club. The Reds have spent the last few weeks in a celebratory mood after securing the Premier League title with four games to spare following a 5-1 demolition of Tottenham.
As a result, Arne Slot has begun rotating the squad a lot more and this has seen some patchy form from certain players as the rhythm is clearly broken up.
It's obviously a great problem to have and this was highlighted in last week's 2-2 draw with Arsenal. The first half saw Liverpool romp to a 2-0 lead before succumbing to an uneven second half that resulted in the draw.
With all of that in mind, predicitng a Starting Xi for the final few matches is not going to be easy. Will there be wholeslae changes? A few? Or will stalwarts get a chance to finish what they started?
Let's see how Liverpool could lineup to face Brighton on Monday.
Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker
Defenders: Conor Bradley, Jarell Quansah, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson
Midfielders: Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott
Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Cody Gakpo
Possible Subs: Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Curtis Jones, Kostas Tsimikas, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dominik Szoboszlai
I think Alisson retains his spot in goal despite the fine work we have seen in recent seasons from Caoimhin Kelleher.
Bradley gets the nod for this one, but with the match coming away from Anfield, I think it's possible Trent Alexander-Arnold makes another substitute appearance. Ibrahima Konate has had a fine season, but Quansah could use the look to reinforce confidence in him going forward.
The midfield is tricky, as Slot could go one of several different directions. I do think Mac Allister is restored to the starting lineup where he will be asked to be the creative force.
Endo is a rock solid player, and his no-nonsense defensive work at the base of the midfield could be a key asset against a Brighton side that will surely be flying in front of their home crowd.

The third slot could be one of either Elliott, Jones or Szoboszlai and all would be justifiable. I think they go with Elliott because we know what we have in the latter two, and allowing Harvey a chance to shine could only benefit the club going forward.
Salah of course keeps his spot as he chases records and tries to secure yet another Golden Boot. Gakpo who scored against the Gunners and played well, should keep his place.
Jota gets a final chance to recapture his goalscoring touch against what should be an aggressive and attack-minded Seagulls side. Nunez and Diaz would make for a formidable attacking duo off the bench around the hour mark.
