Liverpool could be set for a wild summer in both directions when the transfer window opens again. Here we list the premium, budget and wildcard options to replace any possible outgoings, including the player who will definitely be leaving - Trent Alexander-Arnold.

It's going to be a busy, busy summer at Anfield with a handful of departures in combination with ideally several new arrivals.

The options are numerous for Richard Hughes and his staff, so what are some great options and perhaps an under-the-radar one or two?

Jarrell Quansah - Despite promising shows in his first breakthrough season, Quansah has failed to flatter during his covering starts and sub appearances and could be set for a loan next season.

Premium - Nico Schlotterbeck

German defender Nico Schlotterbeck has a wealth of European football experience both at club and international level. The big defender is deceptively agile and provides aerial threat in both boxes.

He would be a top class option for any title chasing club and Liverpool are no different.

Budget - Jonathan Tah

Fellow German Jonathan Tah looks set to be leaving Bayer Leverkusen after over 300 appearances.

The powerhouse defender has had another solid season, backing up his Team of the Season display in the previous years invincible title win.

Wildcard - Antonio Silva

Portuguese starlet Antonio Silva has bags of potential, with the 21-year old already a full international and with 100 club games under his belt already.

The young Benfica defender hasn't featured as much this season, with rumours of his relationship with his manager is growing weaker by the day. He'd be a buy for both right now and the long-term future as well.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - Alexander-Arnold will be leaving Liverpool after a 20 year association and a litter of memories and trophies.

The Englishman looks set to be joining Real Madrid, leaving with what many Reds think is a tarnished legacy. However, his impact is going to be sorely missed and need replacing. Who are some options to replace Trent?

Premium - Jeremie Frimpong

Another Leverkusen megastar, Jeremie Frimpong has eyes all over Europe upon him. The attacking full back has an incredible eye for goal despite his defensive position and is a fellow countryman of manager Arne Slot.

Budget - Tariq Lamptey

If flying Northern-Irishman Connor Bradley will take over as a full starter, Liverpool may turn to a rotation option and there are few better on a free than Brighton star Tariq Lamptey. The Ghanaian international has played over 100 times in the Premier League.

Wildcard - Dani Carvajal

If Real Madrid are replacing Dani Carvajal with Trent Alexander-Arnold, why can't Liverpool replace Trent Alexander-Arnold with Dani Carvajal!

The Spaniard has just a year left on his deal and may not want to settle for a place on the bench this season.

Harvey Elliott - Young Englishman Harvey Elliott has had a frustrating season, with just the one league start coming post title win against Chelsea. He will have plenty of suiters both permanent and possible loan.

Who could be brought in for him if he does depart this summer?

Premium - Adam Wharton

Adam Wharton is one of the hottest properties in midfield right now, with his timely return to fitness lifting Crystal Palace to an FA Cup final and a shoot up the Premier League table.

The Englishman plays like a seasoned Spaniard and it seems only a matter of time before he leaves Palace for big money.

Budget - Angel Gomes

Another man who made his England debut last year, Angel Gomes looks set to leave Lille on a free after a fairly stop start season in France.

The tricky playmaker still has lots to give however and will fit in nicely with Slot's style of play.

Wildcard - Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City and Premier League Icon Kevin De Bruyne is leaving City after an incredible decade with many claiming he is the best the division has ever seen.

The Belgian announced intentions to stay in the country and was a Liverpool fan in his youth.

Darwin Nunez - It's been another frustrating season for Darwin Nunez as he continues his woes in front of goal.

There are heavy rumours of the Uruguayan being moved on this summer, after reportedly having offers declined in January.

What forward options can be secured to take the Liverpool attack to the next level?

Premium - Alexander Isak

Swedish superstar Alexander Isak is one of the world's best strikers. The Newcastle hero is wanted by practically every club in Europe, especially after another stellar season.

The striker has only been outscored by Mohamed Salah this season and will feast further with the Egyptian by his side.

Budget - Jonathan David

Lille hotshot Jonathan David looks set to leave on a free this summer, despite another top season leading the line in France.

The Canadian hotshot is also extremely creative and will be a massive coup for whoever lands his signature this summer.

Wildcard - Mateo Retegui

Italian striker Mateo Retegui has come from nowhere to almost guaranteed golden boot winner following an incredible season for Atalanta.

The former Tigres man failed to produce in his first season in Italy with Genoa but his backed his 24 league goals with 7 assists this time around.
