2. Andy Robertson - £10 million

The intial fee of £8 million for Robbo makes this look even better. He joined from Hull City after they were relegated from the Premier League, through no fault of Robertson's.

He had Alberto Moreno to compete with during his debut season in 2017/18 and he made short work of that obstacle as his limitless effort and crossing prowess made him hard to keep out of the lineup.

He played with the kind of passion that Liverpool fans love and will always gravitate towards. The fact that outside of Trent Alexander-Arnold, he is the best creative fullback in Premier League history as they are 1 and 2 all-time in league assist for fullbacks also goes in his favor here.

He became Captain of Scotland during his time with Liverpool and has won everything a player can win while being a vital piece of the squad.

There wasn't a lot he could not do on the left flank during his peak years, and even now as he is slowly aging, he is still a rock solid player that plays with his heart on his sleeve. 341 appearance and counting have Robbo securely in the top 2 of value signings, but he just can't compete with the next guy.
