As we are now very close to Liverpool kicking off their preseason slate of games against Preston North End, the transfer window is in full flight.
As Arne Slot continues to fine-tune his squad for Year 2 at Anfield, there are still some high-profile players that are likely to leave Anfield this summer, but who?
In this article, I'm going to go through some of the hottest names on the market and rate the likelihood of the Reds selling them this summer from low, medium to a high chance. Let's get started.
Darwin Nunez
Sell Probability: High
It has felt almost inevitable that Darwin will be shown the door at some point this summer following his worst season at Liverpool Football Club.
Despite his painful inconsistency in front of goal for a center forward, there is no shortage of suitors for his services with Serie A winners Napoli chief amongst them.

As the Naples side hashes out the sale of their former talisman Victor Osimhen to Galatasary, they will soon go fully after Nunez. They've already seen a €50m plus add-ons bid rejected but are expected to come back for more.
It's pretty clear at this point that Slot does not value Nunez the same way that Jurgen Klopp did so the writing appears to be on the wall for his time in England.
If Napoli cannot get it done, there are several Saudi teams ready to throw all the money at Liverpool so he's most likely gone this summer for sure.
Luis Diaz
Sell Probability: Medium
This one is an interesting case as there have been a lot of rumors swirling around the Colombian all summer with the latest reports linking him to both Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
The unexpected passing of Diogo Jota however, throws a wrench into things. Diaz is coming off of his most productive season in England so his value might never be higher than it is right now in the prime of his career at 28.

However, for that reason, it might be hard for the Reds to sanction a move. He's still a key piece in the setup and he thrived in the Slot system and one could imagine he might hit a new level in the second season working with the Dutchman.
Yet, he is also publicly stating that they are talking with every interested club and all options remain on the table.
That does not sound like a player that is totally convinced of returning to Liverpool. On the pitch, he should probably stay, but everything else points to his exit. It'll be quite the thread to follow.
Ibrahima Konate
Sell Probability: Low
This is an all too familiar situation for Liverpool fans as we are seeing yet another Starting XI stalwart being allowed to enter the final year of their contract with no future decision.
Real Madrid are once again said to be purring at the chance to snake another Reds defender on a free next summer following their work to get Trent Alexander-Arnold this time around.
Ibou has already rejected one contract extension offer this summer and things do not appear to be close on that end as of this writing.

However, having said that, the odds of him being sold are slim. FSG have shown they are more than willing to let players play out their contracts: Joel Matip, James Milner, Gini Wijnaldum, Bobby Firmino, Alexander-Arnold, etc.
Unless a club comes in with a gargantuan offer this summer, Liverpool will probably take their chances on convincing him to stay over the next 12 months and at worst they will squeeze one more season from his prime for them.
Harvey Elliott
Sell Probability: Medium
There is truly one reason why Liverpool would sell Harvey Elliott and that is Arne Slot not being able to guarantee him meaningful game time.
He's one of the brightest young talents in Europe and a host of clubs would love to have him on their books, so Liverpool must be smart with how they proceed here.
He can still offer them so much now and even more going into this new era at Anfield. The player has been clear, he loves the club but he needs to play at this point to maintain his growth.
It's a fair ask from the lad, so Slot complying would mean he doesn't go anywhere. Another Premier League side offering him locked in starter's minutes? Elliott might be hitting the exit door sooner than we would have ever guessed.
