Kostas Tsimikas
Tsimikas was brought in from Greek champions Olympiakos in 2021. Drafted in as cover for Andy Robertson, Tsimikas' 4 years at Liverpool have been steady.
He hasn’t started as regularly as fans would hope and that is partly down to inconsistent form and injuries.
Due to the injuries and sparse playing time, Tsimikas has struggled to build any kind of consistent form. His performances have been on and off.
He clearly has some great qualities as an attacking left back such as pace and delivery but hasn’t showcased it often enough.

Whilst the Greek Scouser has obtained folklore legendary status by scoring the winning penalty in the FA Cup he hasn’t played as often as one would hope.
Short spells on the sidelines have hindered his progress. Robertson being the preferred starter out of the two tells you everything.
The case for staying is that Tsimikas is younger than Robertson and therefore it is the latter that might get moved on.
However Tsimikas has not hit the heights that Robertson had hit in the Champions League and Premier League winning season. My prediction would be that Tsimikas will be moved and a more able consistent left back is brought in as first choice Left-Back of the future.
Summary
A common theme that runs throughout the players named above is that they are unable to affect games when the chips are down.
When you put them together in a starting line up this theme becomes abundantly clear.
Other than Nunez, all these players started the FA Cup game against Championship team Plymouth Argyle. Nunez came on later in the match.
Neither of the 5 players were able to turn the game around. Conceding a goal in the way Liverpool did was most unfortunate and can happen.
However, players of international standard who regularly represent their countries in major tournaments should be able to turn a game around.
The front players selected in this list need to be more ruthless and have a killer instinct in the final third. There should be a higher number of goals scored and assisted for each of those players individually.
As Slot tries to build a team in his own image and that suits his style of play, these players may have to make way for newcomers.
Each of these players will help to bulk up the summer transfer kitty which will help with outlays for new players.
