Liverpool are heading in to this international break full of disappointment for the first time this season.
Arne Slot's men had already exited the FA Cup before defeat in the Champions League to PSG and the Carabao Cup final loss to Newcastle.
Despite this, there are still plenty of reasons to feel incredibly positive this season.
1 - Champions elect
The Premier League title is still firmly in Liverpool's hands and that will always be the number one prize for the Anfield faithful.
The Reds have dominated the chasing pack, currently with a twelve point lead and needing just five wins to seal the deal.
Arne Slot is set to become just the fifth manager to ever win the title on his debut season, joining the likes of Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti.

It would also give Liverpool a record equaling twenty league titles and only their second in the Premier League era.
Liverpool have only lost one game in the league this season and are on the cusp of going an entire season unbeaten away from home.
The Reds are also the highest scoring team in the division and have won five more games than their closest rivals from North London.
Ultimately, if you'd had offered the Premier League title in August, even without any other silverware, mostly every Liverpool fan would have bitten your hand off!
It would also defy almost every pundit's predictions this season, with some not even having Liverpool in their top 4s.
2. Slot Machine
The shoes of Jurgen Klopp felt nigh on impossible to fill after his sudden shock departure announcement last year.
As alluded to earlier, the majority of pundits predicted a collapse upon his departure, despite the squad he would be leaving his replacement.

Arne Slot looked a clever choice but most will admit perhaps not their first. The Dutchman was relatively new to senior management but did have success in his native Holland, most recently with Feyenoord, with whom he became champions in 2023.
Few would have predicted the domestic success of Slot's first seven months, with the Dutchman just weeks away from a Premier League title.
This is even more remarkable once the summer window slammed shut, leaving Slot with just two of his own additions, one of whom wouldn't even be joining the squad for another year.
3. Player Development
Another string to Slot's bow and another reason to look ahead positively, certain players have improved remarkably this season.
Ryan Gravenberch was struggling to find his feet last season but has arguably been one of the best midfielders in the world this season, despite his positional adjustment to a number six.
Cody Gakpo is another who was potentially ending his Reds career early in the summer before bursting back into the fold this season.

The Dutchman is enjoying life under his countryman, already matching last season's domestic goal tally.
Other improvements include Ibrahima Konate, who has firmly cemented himself as one of the best in the division.
Dominik Szoboszlai, who has probably become Liverpool's second most important attacking player of late is another and even Mo Salah himself, who is on course to break several records this season.
It might be hard to see in the moment, but 2024/25 has still been a very important and successful season for Liverpool Football Club.
