When will the Carabao Cup quarter-final ties be played?
The Carabao Cup quarter-finals are scheduled to take place on the week commencing 14 December. This will fall in-between two Premier League clashes at Anfield, namely against Leeds United on Saturday 12th as well as against Tottenham the following Saturday, 19th, for Andoni Iraola's team.
Thus, depending on opponent, Liverpool's potential tie will be played on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Were they to draw Brighton, given the Seagulls participation in the UEFA Conference League, the match would likely be pushed back to Wednesday 23 December, but Fabian Hürzeler's team would have to win at the Etihad to even make that a possibility.
