Liverpool have had a wild summer off the pitch but have been enjoying finally being back on it this preseason.
As the 2025/26 season draws ever closer, Liverpool have one final friendly before their Community Shield battle with Crystal Palace next weekend. Who has thrived this summer and who has seen their stock fall?
Winners
Rio Ngumoha
No doubt about this summer's biggest win so far - Rio Ngumoha has lit up preseason with Liverpool so far.
The sixteen year old has featured in all four games so far this summer, starting all of the opening three.

The teenager was excellent in the emotional opener against Preston before bagging the fourth goal in Liverpool's demolition of Stoke City behind closed doors.
The shining moment of his summer came in the win in Japan, where Rio scored a fabulous solo goal as he skipped inside two challenges before sliding a finish into the far corner.
Luis Diaz's exit may mean a serious chance at minutes and starts for the youngster, particularly with manager Arne Slot thinking incredibly highly of him.
Trey Nyoni
Another youngster who has impressed many is teenage midfielder Trey Nyoni. The combative midfielder has also featured in all four friendlies, including a solid hour in the defeat to AC Milan.
Nyoni impressed immensely against Preston, with many arguing he was the stand out player in the game.

The eighteen-year old didn't misplace a single pass in the fixture and made several tackles in the heart of midfield.
Like Ngumoha, Nyoni also grabbed an excellent goal in the win over Yokohama, sliding a volley home from Jeremie Frimpong's superb back-post cross.
Though in a more competitive position, Arne Slot is a big fan of the young midfielder and it looks very likely a season of opportunity awaits.
Darwin Nunez
Rumours persist of a potential exit but there's been no denying Nunez's starring role this summer so far. The Uruguayan has four goals in the three games he has played across pre-season.
Nunez scored a real poachers goal against Preston before a gorgeous dummy allowed Cody Gakpo to slot home the third.
It was the behind closed doors game with Stoke that really impressed however, as Nunez scored three in the first half, all very well taken.
Losers
Kostas Tsimikas
Another linked with a move away, Tsimikas will feel he needed a stronger summer to impress Arne Slot, with extra competition coming in the form of new signing Milos Kerkez.

A quiet forty-five minute against Preston was followed by a very disappointing cameo against Milan, including a retched moment that gave the fourth goal away.
The Greek Scouser remains a fan favourite but it looks likely he will be the third choice left back, should he extend his stay past the window closing in September.
Giorgi Mamardashvili
New keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has struggled to impress in the summer, perhaps not aided by sharing back up duties with new third choice keeper in Freddie Woodman.
The Georgian shot stopper didn't have a save to make in his half against Preston before shipping three in his second half against Milan
He was also partly to blame for that disastrous fourth goal mentioned above. He will also feel he was slightly too slow to get out to stop Yokohama's opening goal on Wednesday.
