AM Roberto Firmino: STAY

Keeping Firmino is a no-brainer. But the funny part is, if this question was posed in the beginning of January, how many would’ve pulled the plug or at least thought about it?

Fast forward two months and any person who says that Firmino isn’t a top three player at the club is brandished a moron.

In the beginning, Firmino showed moments of brilliance in strictly that: sparse moments across disappointing, anonymous performances.

The elastic striker has found his consistency at the club. He’s handed in his best performances against top sides, another bonus. His first great game at Liverpool was when he spearheaded the 4-1 victory at The Etihad, another was his brace at Anfield against Arsenal. Cheers to Mignolet for playing a huge part in ruining that.

An attacking trio of Firmino, Coutinho and Sturridge is hugely promising, if all three can stay fit, firing and the club refuses any enticing bids. That last one is more for Coutinho this summer at least.

We move into the out and out strikers now.
