Why Ings might have a future at Liverpool

The entire team, and most of the fans, are behind Danny. I think it’s clear to see his work rates surpass most players, and I’m sure he’ll give everything to return to fitness quickly.

He seems to have the engine and desire that Jurgen Klopp would benefit from. He works tirelessly and can press hard, suiting our style of play. When he returns, we could still only have three or less striking options, meaning once he returns and starts developing he could fight for a chance.

The truth is, nobody knows where we’ll be in 7-9 months time. Giving up on a player who shows admiration and respect for our club is rather silly in my opinion. If when he returns we have better options, then Jurgen Klopp can decide what would be best.

Currently, I think Ings could still be a good Liverpool player. I wish him all the best and a quick recovery, but his position in the team can only really be confirmed once he returns in several months.
