Why Ings might not have a future at Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp develops promising young talents. He’s currently transformed the Liverpool team into a tight-knit unit. We’re winning games and our players are working well together in order to succeed.

In 7-9 months, who knows what our side will look like. We might have an entirely different host of attacking options, but even if we don’t we’re still blessed.

Currently, Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi can all start at striker. Whether or not Ings could keep these players out of the team is a question in itself.

He could have been an excellent back up player to develop and work with, but in the next few months we could have another promising talent that Klopp’s developed further. Ings simply might not be needed by the time he’s fit, and even then he’ll take time to get back to fitness and start improving.
