Liverpool are taking on Manchester City on Saturday at the City of Manchester Stadium and home fans have been previewing the clash.

The Reds come into the game on a high after their 4-0 humiliation of Arsenal, while City scraped a win thanks to a last minute Raheem Sterling goal.

Even though we’re playing away from home, there is still plenty of firepower that is guaranteed to trouble the City defence, who might not have talisman Vincent Kompany available.

Pep Guardiola has spent a ridiculous amount of money on full-backs this season and should be judged on how well they perform.

Both Benjamin Mendy and Kyle Walker love to get up in the attacking end of the pitch, but that should leave a lot of room in behind for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to exploit.

The rest of City’s defence isn’t exactly known for its fleet-footed qualities. Will Guardiola instruct Mendy and Walker to curb their natural instincts or try to beat Liverpool at their own game?

Everyone can see this game will be an absolute cracker with two sides who have a lot of power going forward but not the most solid basis.

City’s defence has a habit of letting them down, while the Reds’ is leakier than a rusty bucket. So without any further waffle, scroll below to see what Citizens’ supporters have said about the Liverpool game.

"ilovepolos: “I’m not that bothered about their “form” really. They’ve played well against Arsenal but were largely ***** against Palace and conceded 3 to Watford.”Well-Ill-Be-Fooked: “I think it’s simple. If we stop Mané we will win the game. He’s their main man, the majority of what they do goes through him.. he’s very fast and uses it to abuse defenders. I hope Mendy or Walker whoever is up against him, sit back and try to keep him quiet. I feel like their system thrives against 3 at the back, so a 4-3-3 or 4-1-4-1 is the way to go.”qwert234: “Wijnaldum is the least of our worries. He has 1 good game in 10 and is merely a work horse and is there to fill the numbers. Can is the real lynchpin has been looking top class recently. I’m just glad Lallana won’t be fit for this.”the99percent1: “Its gonna be a tough game with a couple of goals each way. Liverpool are scary good and always perform against the top 6.”UltimateRome: “I’m scared of the 3-5-2. If Mendy or Walker are up high while attacking and we get dispossessed, Salah or Mane will bolt down the pitch on the counter attack which can be very lethal.”"
