A Liverpool star has claimed the club is like his family after a successful first month on Merseyside.
Speaking to liverpoolfc.com, Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah said that he had settled quickly into his new team and is happy in England.
“I’m very happy to have this start with the team and to help the team win points and win games,” the 25-year-old gushed. “I’m very happy to be here, it’s like my family.”
Despite getting beat 4-0 against Manchester City on Saturday, Salah has managed to remain upbeat about the Champions League game against Sevilla on Wednesday.
“We have to look forward to the next game, forget that result and play like before,” the website reported that he said.
“I’m very, very excited to start the Champions League games at Anfield. I would like to win that game,” concluded the former Chelsea man.
