Bull! Not biting! Fake news! Liverpool fans are not having a bar of the latest transfer rumour
Liverpool have been linked with AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson but fans are not having a bar of it.
Journalists in the UK – as per the Metro – as well as sources in Brazil have indicated that the Reds are extremely keen to bring the Brazilian to Anfield, but some supporters are still claiming fake news.
With Philippe Coutinho sold to Barcelona, Merseyside chiefs now have some serious cash to use for the upgrade of the side.
It’s clear that Liverpool need to strengthen their options between the sticks and Alisson would certainly represent a huge upgrade on Simon Mignolet or Loris Karius.

The club have been linked with Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, said the Daily Star, but his release clause of £100 million may prove too steep.
No price has been mentioned for Alisson, but anything below what Atletico want for Oblak would probably be considered.
