Liverpool powered to a 4-3 win against Manchester City today in the Premier League at Anfield. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Man City.

Only one of these teams has an unbeaten run. And they play in Red. Liverpool blew Manchester City away today with a brilliant second half spell and held on despite two late City goals. That makes it 18 straight for the Reds and 14 in the league without defeat.

Two big pieces of news for the Liverpool line up. Club record signing Virgil van Dijk has a small hamstring strain and so was unable to take part. Jurgen Klopp also surprised everyone by picking Loris Karius in goal; much like he did against Arsenal early in the season.

Lovren took Virgil van Dijk’s spot in defense and Mohamed Salah was fit to start. Gini Wijnaldum came in for James Milner making that four changes from the side that beat Everton in the FA Cup last week.

Oxlade-Chamberlain opened the score with a great strike before a soft goal let Manchester City back into the game. The Englishman turned provider with a brilliant through ball to Firmino whose delicate finish was delightful. A typical Sadio Mane finish gave us the two goal lead before Salah soared Ederson’s horrible clearance over his head for the fourth. Goals from Bernardo Silva and Gundogan made it nervy but the Reds were too good.
