Left Back: Andy Robertson

There are 14 definite games left of this season and I don’t see any reason why Andrew Robertson shouldn’t start every single one of them. Perhaps if we get a big cushion over fifth place and we have a Champions League semi-final coming up then we should play Alberto Moreno. Otherwise it is Robbo for me all the way to May.

However very rarely does Klopp do what I want him to. If he ends up showing preference to the Champions League over the domestic run-in then we could very well see Moreno on Sunday at St. Mary’s.

Though it bears remembering that Robertson barely played in the first half of the season. Moreno was rarely rotated out and the Scotsman had only started three games before the Spaniard’s injury in December.

As of today Robertson has only played 15 games this season. That means if he plays every remaining game then he should finish the season with 29-34 games.
