Liverpool Player Ratings: Forwards

MOHAMED SALAH. 8. Two minutes in and Salah hit the righthand post but the ball cannoned out instead of over the line. Couldn’t quite get a good header on Robertson’s excellent cross midway through the first half. Got his goal early in the second half after running across the box to receive the ball and turning in his 20th left foot finish in the Premier League.. Right Forward. Liverpool

Liverpool. ROBERTO FIRMINO. 8. West Ham playing with three center backs always had someone (or two) following Firmino around. That tactic worked pretty well in the first half as the Brazilian struggled to find the space to influence the game. Became much more influential after Liverpool got the second goal. Put away his goal with ease and forced the Hammers to work much harder as the game went on.. Center Forward

SADIO MANE. 8. Ended up drifting a little too wide to find space away from the 8 or 9 defensively minded Hammers. Missed a great chance after hitting the post with a left foot finish from the penalty spot where it looked easier to score. Made no mistake minutes later as he passed home Robertson’s perfectly placed cross.. Left Forward. Liverpool

Substitutes

Adam Lallana – 7

Given a ten minute run out and looked hungry. Fired one over but was bright.

Dominic Solanke- 6

On for Mohamed Salah which gave the Kop a chance to clap off the Egyptian King.

Alberto Moreno- 6

Cheeky from Klopp to stick Moreno on the left-wing for a few minutes
