Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp loves the songs and creativity of the Reds fans but has one problem; he wants a better song for Roberto Firmino!

Sometimes I have to pinch myself. Jurgen Klopp is an incredible man. He is a world-class football coach. And he’s ours. Watching Arsenal trying to find a new boss or Manchester United and Chelsea struggle with the ones they have it makes me grateful that Liverpool have the right man.

As much as Liverpool have the right boss, Klopp has the right club. He is a man of passion and belief and has awoken the deep wells of both within the Liverpool fan base. His energy, feeds ours. And ours feeds his.

Speaking to the official Liverpool website this week he revealed how he likes to watch all the fan videos. While he ignores the press entirely, he can’t get enough of the fans’ songs, creativity and passion.

He didn’t realize that ‘Allez, Allez, Allez’ was new to the Kop canon this season. As you know, that has become the anthem of this season – and in particular this amazing run to the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.

While Klopp is getting hyped on the Liverpool passion he does have one, very specific criticism: there is no song for Roberto Firmino. And he’s right. There is the ‘Bobby Firmino’ chant but as the manager points out, that is not a song!

The ‘Mo Salah’ song has become a staple at Anfield and if there is one other player at Liverpool who deserves a full-blown song – verses, choruses, bouncing bridge – it is Firmino.

Klopp loves Bobby. There is no player in this Liverpool side that represents everything the manager wants more than Firmino. Maybe we write him a song about scoring the winner in Ukraine. I’d like that and I think Klopp would too.
