Hakim Ziyech

Another day, another complicated transfer. Hakim Ziyech was linked with a £60 million move to Liverpool after AS Roma pulled out of a deal, but now it appears as if that Serie A swap is back on.

The Express wrote that Ajax coach Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the Moroccan international will be leaving the Amserdam ArenA for new pastures – and it appears likely that the Reds won’t be that destination.

And if they do, it will be another miss for Klopp – who isn’t having much luck in his pursuit of attacking reinforcements. But, with so many talented youngsters coming through, maybe that’s all part of the German’s plan?

Liverpool fans have seen that their gaffer is prepared to play a waiting game to make sure he lands the perfect player and this could be the latest installment.
