Nabil Fekir

All sorts has been going on in regards to Nabil Fekir’s transfer to Liverpool. It appeared as if it was a done deal before it suddenly wasn’t.

The club appeared as if they weren’t happy with how Fekir’s knee was shaping up, but his camp was still desperate to keep the deal alive. Things may change after the World Cup, but the latest word is that this transfer is dead in the water.

According to sources at the Telegraph, there has been no contact between the Reds and Lyon for nearly a month. The newspaper also added that it’s unlikely that negotiations will resume on that £53 million bid.

So then, what to make of this one? Well, it’ll drag out a bit longer as France remain in the World Cup thanks to a thrilling 4-3 win over Argentina. When and if they’re knocked out, then a clearer picture will emerge.
