2018 summer transfer window: Every Liverpool deal ranked and rated
1. Ádám Bogdán
Hungarian goalkeeper Ádám Bogdán really has no business being on Liverpool’s books anymore. The 30-year-old arrived as someone who was never going to play unless a major injury spree hit the Reds, and needs to be shipped out on a permanent basis.
Bogdán has only joined Scottish side Hibernian on a loan deal, which is why this transfer is ranked as the worst of the window. It should have been a permanent one. The 20-cap international has only played six times for Liverpool since joining from Bolton on a free in 2015, and he won’t add anymore appearances to that.
But it looks as if the goalkeeper may have found himself a home north of the border. Bogdán has already made his Scottish Premier League debut and featured in four Europa League qualifying games.
Hopefully this can be made into a permanent move and FSG can forget they ever employed the flame-haired Budapest native.
