Kasper Dolberg

Danish international Kasper Dolberg is another 21-year-old who is a key part of the Ajax jigsaw – and has been for the past couple of seasons.

The arrival of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar may have limited his appearances this season, but my God, he’s made up for lost time and scored five goals in seven Eredivisie games.

2016/2017 was the striker’s breakthrough campaign as he burst onto the scene with a bang as he scored 16 league goals and registered six assists in 29 games.

Dolberg was announced as one of the competition’s best U21 prospects and the club allegedly turned down a massive €50 million from AS Monaco after the Dane’s first season in Amsterdam.

Recently, the striker’s agent claimed that Napoli wouldn’t be able to afford his asking price – so Liverpool would have to be ready to drive a hard bargain to sign the starlet.

He can bring other’s into play and has the pace, dribbling and technical ability to go it alone, which will interest Klopp a lot. Dolberg has admitted that he wants to score as well as assist – which is basically Roberto Firmino’s job. Imagine those two working a mentor/prodigy relationship.
