Four reasons why Liverpool should avoid Abdülkadir Ömür like the plague

He’s an average passer

At just 19 it’s way too early to call it anything other than what it is right now; all hype. He is definitely quick off the mark, though. He is speedy and has the advantage of getting into tight spaces. He is quite agile in that regard.

His passing ability is average, in my opinion. Certainly nothing to brag about. His affinity to run with the ball is something that stands out immediately when you watch him play.

However, he has good control and technique, especially for his age which is probably one of the best skills he has at the moment. He can manipulate the ball well and place it wherever a teammate is on the field.

In recent years, several Turkish players (born and raised in Turkey) have gone abroad and almost all have flopped with the exception of Arda Turan and Emre Belozoglu. The others have done poorly and ended up returning to Turkey.
