Liverpool are kicking off the Premier League season against Norwich City on Friday August 9th but Man City fans are having a meltdown that they aren’t first.

You would think that winning a treble of domestic trophies and two record-breaking Premier League seasons would instill some kind of confidence in Man City fans. But alas they are still jealous and paranoid about Liverpool Football Club.

The Premier League fixtures were announced today with the news that Liverpool will kick off their campaign against newly promoted on Friday August 9th against Norwich City at Anfield.

That will be the first game of the new season and Man City fans are pissed. They believe they should be playing on the opening night as the reigning champions. Instead they are playing the early kick off on Saturday morning away at West Ham.

Okay lads. Being the Community Shield holders is cool and everything but Liverpool are the Champions of Europe. Which means they are better. Empirically better. In every way.

One fan is also irate at the BBC who announced the new Premier League fixture list with a picture of Virgil van Dijk hoisting the Champions League trophy in Madrid rather than Vincent Kompany lifting the Premier League trophy at a half empty Etihad.

The fume is delicious. Like the aroma of freshly baked bread it is enough to wake you up and put a pep in your step just knowing how angry, jealous and small-minded Man City fans are.

The two favorites for the title will play each other on Saturday November 9th 2019 at Anfield and then Saturday April 4th 2020 at the Etihad. Although it is virtually certain that both games will be moved for the Sky Sports and BT Sports schedule.
