We’re slowly forgetting about Alisson

Let’s be honest, when Alisson went down we were all fearing the worse. I mean, Adrian couldn’t even get a game with West Ham and now he’s flying high with the Champions League winners and has played in seven games this season.

The Spaniard pulled off excellent saves against Napoli as well as denying Tammy Abraham one vs one. Those early growing pains seem to have dissipated after his howler against Southampton – and just like Alisson against Leicester, he seems to have learned from it.

Klopp keeps on providing injury updates every week about the Brazilian, but we seem to be less rapt about the number one’s progress as Adrian keeps on growing into the role. Don’t get us wrong, we want Alisson back. But his absence isn’t being missed quite as much as we thought it would.

With games against the Dons, Sheffield United, Salzburg and Leicester coming in the next 11 days, the Spaniard has an excellent chance to cement his growing reputation among Liverpool supporters.
